Course Description

This course is designed for those who have an idea for a business that has a social purpose. It is aimed at groups of people who have already come together to discuss and understand the issue they want to address. The course will introduce the types on ‘non-profit’ organisations that can be developed and the differences between them. It will also explore the difference between the user of the service as a opposed to the customer (commissioner) of the service and it will look at all aspects of business planning including legislation and compliance, market research, operational and financial planning and communications and marketing.
