Course Description

During this sociable two-hour workshop (2-4pm), you will use hand sewing skills to create upcycled fabric flower brooches to give your clothes a colourful and personal twist. This workshop is being held as part of a wider event that marks a creative collaboration between GCDA and the Community Hospice www.communityhospice.org.uk for Greenwich’s Black History 365 programme. Participants are welcome to stay on from 4-6pm for some food, games and insightful conversations about culture and charity shops. There will also be some fabulous fashion finds for sale at charity shop prices! All materials will be provided. This workshop will be held at The Nest, 3 Cygnet Square, Thamesmead, SE2 9FA
