Do you need a sleek, well-functioning website for your business? Are you a complete beginner to building a website? If so, then this 4-week Web Design for Beginners course is for you. Our expert tutor will guide you through the fundamental elements of creating a website using Wix. You will learn what works and what doesn’t, how to craft your brand and identity, how to build the basic functionality and how to ensure it stands out in the crowd using Search Engine Optimisation effectively. This is a must for anyone ready to embark on their journey to a beautiful, effective website. This course is followed by an intermediate level course which will build on what you have covered in the beginner’s course. Please note that you must bring your own laptop to the sessions on this course. Contact us at training@gcda.org.uk if you have any queries. Due to large numbers of people booking onto our courses and not turning up, we are now taking a £10 deposit for each course to help ensure attendance. You will be eligible to get the deposit back if you attend every session. Or, if you can’t attend, you must: · Email or contact the tutor or admin team on Training@gcda.org.uk to let them know you can’t make it. · Still attend at least 70% of the course. Do not book on if you think you cannot attend 70% of the course. · You must give 24 hours notice to be eligible for the refund. · If you don’t show up and don’t get in touch, you will lose your deposit. If leaving a £10 deposit is a barrier because of financial difficulties, please contact training@gcda.org.uk to talk to us about this. You must request for the return of the deposit.
